Sevilla coach Juande Ramos seemed to live up to his proposed billing as a future Tottenham Hotspur coach by seeing his team systematically destroyed 3-0 by Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. The loss of Antonio Puerta is still affecting Sevilla on the pitch and off it as well.

In the battle of the expected also-rans Slavia PRague won through with a 2-1 home win over former European champions Steaua Bucharest.

Sevilla regained some honour and some much needed Champion's League points with a 4-2 win over Slavia Prague, a result made a little less convincing looking by Slavia's last minute consolation goal.

Steaua upped their game for the visit of the English Champion's League runners up from 2006 and it took a Robin Van Persie goal to finally separate the two sides with only fourteen minutes to go.

Arsenal went to town on Slavia Prague and with doubles for Theo Walcott and Cesc Fabregas amongst the goals haul there will be many Arsenal fans wondering why they ever worried about losing Thierry Henry.

What turned out to be Juande Ramos's last game in charge of Sevilla saw his side limp home 2-1 against bottom club Steaua Bucharest.

Arsenal will be disappointed with only a goalless draw away to Slavia Prague despite playing their youthful reserve team but the point was enough to keep them ahead of Sevilla at the top of Group H.

The Spaniards don't seem to have broken stride after the loss of coach Juande Ramos and put Steaua away in clinical fashion to get within one point of Arsenal in the race to top the qualifying group table.

Arsenal's win over bottom club Steaua Bucharest wasn't enough to claim top spot in group H as Sevilla left it late to romp home 3 - 0 winners in Prague. Slavia now go into the UEFA Cup as Sevilla top the group and go into the knockout stages in pole position.
